Really good hospitality, but could improve in some aspects
Everything was perfect, from booking in and throughout my operation and recovery.
I cannot speak too highly of the nursing care on the first floor which was outstanding in every way, attentive, polite, prompt and friendly. The surgical care was impressive and professional: I received an answer to any question I asked and I felt confidence in my surgeon.
Had to wait several hours for pharmacy items to arrive before I could be discharged. Had to ask what was being done rather rpthan someone coming to give us an update.
The service was excellent. Nurses were extremely professional.
In house and long term CCL Medical care was excellent. No complaints, however some agency staff could be better trained in the system and vetted.
The consultant, nurses and other healthcare professionals were very good indeed. They clearly knew their jobs; were always courteous; and never failed to give me support and answer any questions I had.
The administation was less effective. I received no less than 3 different requested arrival times for my procedures; and it was clear that there was a breakdown in communication between the administrative team and the Endoscopy team.
Once I was registered, everything went smoothly. The care givers were helpful and responsive. Doctors explained the process and answered all questions. Nursing staff who discharged was outstanding.
