I had my eyes tested in October 20018 had to go back as my vision was blurred after another visit they had to change my prescription and had to go back again the staff seemed to be put out about this and were a bit iffy with me and to date my vision is still not as clear as it should be/ was would not go back even though I have been going there for a number of years....

Fantastic with my 5 year old daughter. Great explaining what she needed. I never fill in these surveys but I was so happy with the service I've done one this time!

The website for making an appointment was tedious. It was much easier in the end to ring up.

There was a calm atmosphere and I felt that all the staff had time for me - I didn't feel rushed in any way.

The optometrist was lovely and had contact lenses into Lily's eyes in no time. The assistant who was supposed to be teaching her to take them in and out had my daughter in tears. She hectored and criticised her. Chided her for not doing it correctly. She was appalling. I have no doubt that no one has ever complained about her before, she did say she had a cold that day and was obviously not up to doing the job as she mentioned her cold several times. After watching her for five minutes I went to fetch the optometrist to take over and intervene. She was no help and couldn't stop this woman. Eventually my daughter was in tears and asked to be taken out immediately. I thanked the assistant for her efforts and she said that wasn't necessary. I specifically asked for this assistant as she is old and should be experienced, the last assistant who tried to teach Lily, talked to her like she was a five year old child and there were tears again. Either it was a lack of sensitivity or the lady was not fit for work and should have been at home. I won't be going to that branch ever again, despite them ringing me up when my husband complained and me re booking another appointment. Lily is 12 and says she never wants to go there again.
