Took my son for his eye test and new glasses. All the staff were fabulous. They were patient and gave good advice regarding sunglasses etc. my son was over the moon with his Ray- Bans .im sorry I don’t remember the names, but they are all a credit to Boots. Thanks

I recently had to get new glasses after long process with eye infirmary. Having made numerous visits to store at last with my new prescription l could order. Wendy could not have taken more time with me explaining the lenses had to be specially made and would take longer.She then phoned me with price and approximate time of delivery. I would recommend her time and patience to anyone, Thank you Wendy.

I stand by that this store is probably the most competent I've experienced and I've been to a few Boots Opticians around the country. Eye tests and contact lens checks are always easy to book and appointments run on time. The staff are warm and welcoming, knowledgeable, ready to assist you, and give you all the information you need to make a well informed decision. I've recently moved and this store was my home store for years and years. I organised new contact lenses at the new store and they got sent to the Sunderland store erroneously. A lady rang me up from Sunderland having looked through my records when they arrived and said she was sure they were supposed to go to another store. I confirmed this, she apologised and gave me the option of sending them to that store or my new address. She was fab, her tone and manner was great, clearly had all her facts right, and took responsibility of others and apologised on their behalf. Because of the way it was dealt with I'm not even bothered about this. Excellent staff, well done guys!

Went for my eye test what a lovely friendly shop the staff make you feel so relaxed the Irish gentleman that tested my eyes was really lovely and rob that done some other tests was really lovely too they made me feel at home .thanks so much I strongly recommend this shop if you go you will never go anywhere else Thankyou s theaker.

Everyone was so friendly and helpful from the optometrist to the girls on the floor who helped in the selection of my glasses. I would definitely recommend boots to my friends.

Everything was clearly explained, not just the optometrist, but also the lady conducting the other tests.
