Boots Opticians Teddington

The Staff at Teddington were pleasant and helpful. However they are totally let down by the call cantre that has taken over. They offer you robotic options which dont exsist and are rude and useless. My contact lenses hadn't arrivedand I kept trying to explain the someonewho neither could help or care. Apparently my lenses which have been sent directly to me for years were sent to the store by mistake. No one told me ! Eventually HO said someone would deliver them to me. They didn't. When I went into the shop another man came in with exactly the same problem We both hate the useless call centre. Cant be the only ones

I stood on my glasses while doing an online yoga class and was prepared for them not to be repaired for ages in the current difficult times . The sides had both snapped but the lenses were intact.I phoned the number given on the door of the optician and was called back very quickly by Mr Sura . He first checked to see if they had a similar frame to put the lenses into , but no luck so he suggested putting them into an old rimless frame . I dropped this off and got my spectacles returned perfectly adjusted in the old frames within 2 hours ! And at no charge !!! I am extremely grateful for the excellent service from Saranjit Sura , irt would have been a great problem to be without functioning glasses for the foreseeable future . Many , many thanks . My optometrist was lovely. He explained everything fully to me, was very clear and concise. When I arrived, another member of staff informed me that the appointments were running late. I was able to leave and grab a coffee before my appointment. All the staff at the Teddington branch are always really friendly and polite

The optician was so kind and friendly with my little boy it was an enjoyable experience and very reassuring for me. I really appreciated the optician's manner he made a real effort with my son.

My optometrist (Shaz) is a very warm and friendly person who puts one at ease and shows great patience throughout the consultation. He frequently reassured me that I could take my time when trying to differentiate between lenses, which was sometimes quite tricky. He was very thorough and took care to explain all the results of the various examinations. 5 stars for him! The assistant who did some other tests and helped me to buy my new glasses was also great and took a lot of care measuring me to get the lenses right and a good fit.
