Boots Opticians Stowmarket

I can offer nothing but the highest praise for all of the staff at this branch. From the time that I was diagnosed as needing a dual Cataract operation at the beginning of 2020 they have been professional, attentive and friendly, yet courteous. After fruitlessly waiting for over 9 months for an operation date they even found for me a specialist NHS medical center that could operate within a few weeks. I have now had these procedures completed and I now have eyes like a Hawk instead of a Mole. Its like a new World for me at the moment. Heartfelt thanks to everyone there.

I would like to say a huge thank you to the staff at Boots Opticians in Stowmarket for their excellent customer service and attention to detail following my recent problem with my Radley glasses frames nothing was to much trouble for them they showed patience and consideration throughout and dealt with the issue in a very professional manner I am pleased to say my problem has been resolved thanks to their efforts. The lady who helped me choose my glasses after my eye test was “Samantha” and she was brilliant, very helpful and patient.....I took a while to choose my glasses but she was helping me choose by giving me her opinion on which ones she thought suited me but without being pushy. I normally like to be left alone to try different frames on, but she totally changed my opinion and I was very glad of all her help.

I was phoned and asked to arrive ten minutes before the appointed time, but was then ignored for several minutes. When I arrived the girl behind the desk was on the phone, rather then acknowledge me, she turned her back and continued her conversation. Previously I have used the branch and been happy but all the staff appear to have changed and this time the experience was not good.I got the impression that they were not there to make the customer happy, but just to get paid.

My sister and my self need new glasses. Walked into shop and it was so bright. White floor white shiny walls everything reflects and florescent lights reflecting in mirrors we were asked if we had got up to date prescription. When we said yes they said I will leave you to try some on and walked off. We would have liked some advise on what would be best for us.. . We left and the brightness has put us off returning.

Friendly and easy process- even though I hate the glaucoma test!!

Got an appointment next day, booked on line. Appointment was on time, very efficient, explained all the way through, also had great help choosing new frames. Have nothing negative to say. Waiting for call to let me know when glasses are ready.
