Boots Opticians Ipswich - Tavern Street

The staff and optometrist were excellent, thorough, friendly and very efficient. I never felt hurried in any way and the whole appointment was very professional. The whole team are very impressive.

Since changing to Boots Opticians I've been happy with their care and that they referred me to the hospital after detecting macular disease.

I actually went to the stowmarket branch but couldnt see it on the drop down. All staff were helpful and friendly. I haven't had an eye test in years so was quite an interesting experience. Great service and thorough testing. Turns out I do now need glasses so glad I went. Thank you.

All staff in branch are very helpful, chatty and friendly. Navreet Rihal, the optometrist, was also very good at explaining what she was doing and why. She was so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. A pleasure to be served by her.

It would have been nice if they had phoned me up when my second pair of glasses were ready to collet.

I was seen on time, and everything was explained to me. I was disappointed that the cost of thinking the lenses were so wxpensive at £70 , I would be happy to pay £30 but felt £70 was too much.

Boots are precise and they tell you all that is happening. They are willing to assist in anyway they can.

Syeda was amazing with my 5year old son, she was also very passionate about getting my sin the right help at the hospital ASAP which should of happened at a different optisions years ago l. Emily was very polite and helpful and the gentleman who came and made sure my son's glasses fitted perfectly also giving him a new frame as my son had broken his. This boots optisions is so friendly and helpful a real credit to boots.

Being an electrician i was not impressed that your shop floor has a mixture of lamp colours in your light fittings, plus display light fittings not having working lamps at all and there is a few, this is very bad for your eyesight & can cause staff to have eyesight issues along with headaches. for an optician's this is very poor from Boots i hope improvements will have been made on my next visit in few days time no pressure!! I would recommend Cool white tubes are used colour 840 or above but all the same. As far as the staff are concerned you have a really good team there. I did point out lighting issue to them.
