Great staff and good advice without sales pressure

The primary purpose of my visit was to have the retinal scan image taken to ensure that that there had been no degradation since my last appointment. I was very disappointed to find out that the optometrist was unable to compare my scan to previous images, as they were taken at another Boots store. (Also, it wasn't clear from my booking that I had mad the appointment for an alternative from the one I requested)

I have been using this branch for many years and they always provide an excellent personal service. Both Alison and Saleem are very caring, thorough and polite. Glenda is always friendly and happy to assist with choosing new glasses/adjusting existing ones when needed.

I was actually going to email and say what a wonderful team of staff you had when this opportunity to review arrived in my inbox! The optometrist was brilliant and explained everything she was doing and I learned a few things about my eye condition I hadn't realised before. The lady who helped me chose my glasses had the patience of a saint with this dozy mare who couldn't make a decision for toffee. She was charming and helpful and offered advice and support and was happy for me to go away and come back with my son to help decide. I came away feeling it had been a really great experience, and not at all 'clinical and cold'. What a great team you have!

I do think for a 3 year olds consultation it should be made shorter. It took over an hour and that is a long time to expect a 3 year old to cooperate
