Boots Opticians Sidmouth

All the staff are very friendly and helpful not to mention knowledgeable. I saw Anne, dispensing optician, and she was absolutely wonderful. I had a very troublesome cataract and she sorted me out immediately to go and have the operation which was then done within the month of seeing her. The staff were very generous with their time and very honest with their opinions when I was choosing glasses, which I really appreciated. I highly recommend this particular Branch and will definitely go back again when necessary.

Anna and Dawn were great. I squished my glasses in the car boot while on holiday over Christmas. I visited the Opticians today fearing a huge cost to replace them but both ladies were wonderful and managed to make my glasses as good as new and at no cost! Fantastic service from both ladies with a smile

Very thorough check of my eyes both prior to seeing the optician, by the store team, and my actual test with Anna the optician. Everything was explained as we went along and I felt very relaxed and confident with what everybody was doing. Anna was professional and I trusted her, she made me feel at ease throughout the procedure. I am returning to purchase some new glasses from them, they supported me with choosing the right pair for me. Brilliant service

I took my 17 year old son for an eye test, he has worn glasses since he was small, a young inexperienced woman served us she was polite but failed to explain anything and then told us the price of £280 for 1 pair of glasses, when I asked for a break down of the costs we had been charged £110 for thinner lenses, she had not asked us given any explanation of the costs or process. I have 3 adult children who have worn glasses from a young age I have never paid anywhere near that price for lense thinning or frames. I am unable to pay that much so I took his prescription and will go elsewhere to get a more reasonably priced pair of glasses for my son. I won't be using Boots options again.
