This is a follow up on my first review. Titled new glasses that I cannot wear.I received an email to contact them on their complaints line which I have just done thinking that maybe all is not lost ,how wrong can one be ! Having explained my problem. The lady proceeded to tell me that she could not help me and it was basically down to the manager of the boots in poole who was not there when I went in to see if they could help me! For the 3rd time, So I am now giving up ! and going to my local optician to see if they can help me and my £ 300 glasses will remain in my drawer as a reminder of a bad experience. ! So much for wanting me to be happy with my new glasses .

Very friendly staff and eye test very good. The only down side was the choice of glasses. Limited range and all very similar . Nothing really exciting. Chose glasses out of default rather than choosing due to liking them. So I would reconend the test but would go else where for my glasses . I have verifocal lenses . So although the frames were reasonable at just over a £100 , all together I spent over £337. For one pair of glasses. Which is a lot for glasses that are a bit boring.

The Optometrist I saw was friendly and put me at my ease. A very personable lady who was very easy to talk to.

A thorough check for my son and myself. Caring and professional staff. The optometrist was fantastic at explaining everything to both myself and my teenage son. I changed opticians to be with this optometrist. She obviously loves her job and is extremely knowledgeable. I will never change now. The best one I've ever known. The rest of the staff are also wonderful at their job and it is a fantastic team. We are very lucky to have them all.

All of the staff at Boots in Chard were very lovely and very helpful and friendly. I honestly don't think I've ever felt so comfortable or been so well treated from anywhere else before as I was here - it's really stuck in my mind how lovely all the ladies were and I'm pleased I have been given this to fill out!
