Boots Opticians Saffron Walden

I visited after I injured my eye. The team were so so helpful and the optician went out of her way to help me. Even booking me a return check up 2 days later, which I then discovered was on her lunch break. But she was happy to help. Honestly couldn’t recommend any higher. Will be returning here for my checks and glasses going forward. Amazing amazing service.

The staff were friendly and did not lecture me for not having been in so long, the optometrist made me feel comfortable and the whole thing was a lot less stressful than I first anticipated. Great service.

As always, when we arrived we were greeted with a smile and warm welcome from Jo and Ash. My partner, daughter and I all had our eyes tested. My partner and I both needed to have new glasses. I cannot sing Jo Sewell's praises enough. She was so helpful, friendly and knowledgeable, her customer service skills are second to none! You should be very proud to have an employee of her calibre working for you. Well done Jo!

My experience was a very good one. I found the Optometrist very friendly and professional. The two assistants gave me their full attention and were again friendly and highly professional, I didn't feel rushed and they helped me every step of the way. I chose to go to Boots because of the service I received the last time I had my eye test and new glasses fitting.

Perhaps the waiting time - I was there quite a while in the end.

There was a misunderstanding that led to the wrong contact lenses being ordered for me. Joanne Sewell and other staff were very helpful and sorted out the problem immediately. The optometrist (Melanie Steele) was very professional and rechecked my eye test to make sure that the correct lenses were ordered. I was very impressed by their professional standard and caring attitude.

The optimitrist was running late, she was doing a very thorough and careful job on the previous patient, the manageress made me a cup of tea and made sure that I was happy to wait.

Very friendly staff, very knowledgable and helped me in a time of need when I thought that I had a contact lense stuck within my eye. They were calm and empathetic and reassuring and I am really happy with my experience and will continue to keep coming to boots !!!
