Boots Opticians Bishops Stortford - South Street

I rarely give 5/5 in any review but in this case I have as it was hard to think of any way the service could have been improved. The optician was friendly and explained everything clearly and on the dispensing side the service was amongst the best I've ever received anywhere. Nothing was two much trouble for Emma, Beckie and Jack whilst I was selecting my glasses and having them fitted and adjusted. Everybody in the store was obviously determined to ensure I received great service and was completely satisfied with my glasses.

My visit to Boots opticians in May resulted in a prescription for which I needed to make veriphocals. However following two subsequent visits to the opticians I was unable to find a frame to suit the prescription. Soon after I left for India on a holiday, over there I made a new set of glasses with the prescription given. However the prescription did not suit me at all. The vision was blurry and the focus was distauted. Resulting in severe headaches. On the 19th October I had my eyes tested again by boots opticians and they confirmed that the prescription previously provided in may was incorrect and had to be 'tweaked'. The boots opticians offered to make me a replacement verifocals for free and also gave a budget frame for free as a good will gesture. Therefore although my intial experience was extremely disappointing and caused me significant upset and pain the conclusion was satisfactory. I was extremely happy with the service provided by Optometrist Aisha and Jack who helped me choose the right frame and was extremely patient and professional.

Jill put me at ease immediately. She was warm and friendly and to be honest, it wad the eye appointment I've ever had. She was extremely friendly and professional but also human. I haven't laughed before in an eye exam and she made the experience very positive and memorable. Thank you to her and Emma who helped me choose my glasses. She picked the perfect pair!

The staff were all friendly and helpful, Every step was clearly explained and all my questions were clearly answered in detail. A very pleasing experience.
