Boots Opticians Port Talbot

I would like to especially commend Darren who saw me today. Darren was extremely thorough in checking & assessing my right eye which he diagnosed has Polyopia. This was a great relief to me as Vision Express said I had Double Vision. I have had many problems with both eyes (retinal tears/astigmatism) and have seen many Opticians over the years, and Darren is by far the best one I have seen. Darren really is a credit to Boots and I would like to express my deepest gratitude to him for diagnosing what is going on in my right eye. Darren will be contacting my eye consultant in Singleton Hospital for further investigation.

Friendly and helpful staff. More to the test than I have had previously in other opticians and it was all explained to me.

Fantastic customer service

Optometrist Rachel Taylor gave a thorough eye examination. It was better than any eye test i have ever had. Specsavers or optic shop are not even close to the quality of this place. Expensive for glasses but service makes up for that in my opinion.

Everything was brilliant - no improvement needed

Was seen promptly and very efficiently. Was very happy with my service.

I was kept waiting for over 10 minutes despite stating when making the appointment that I was there for an eye health check not an eye test. There was no apology for my wait. However the optician was thorough & matter-of-fact, and the assistant (Lee) who helped me choose prescription sunglasses was helpful, efficient and unobtrusive which I find a great plus when choosing frames as I get self conscious.

My mother is disabled and hard of hearing. Her treatment was excellent in every way.
