Shama my optician was great and reassuring. I have to mention the young girl Andrea who helped with my testing as well as choosing my glasses. Andrea was considerate, caring and helpful throughout the whole process and she should be recognised and credited as a vital employee to your company. Thanks too both girls! I have booked my partner for the same test next week based on the great service i received!

The Optometrist was extremely helpful and I have just been diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes and she went out of her way to do every single examination that she was able to do even thought I was just booked in for a regular eye test. She was fantastic and put all my fears to bed.

Great experience

I failed my field of vision test, and I said to the lady that I had previously failed it on my last eye test, missing spots in the top right corner, I failed in this area again. I was asked to redo the test. Whilst being set up for a retest, the optometrist came in and whispered to the assistant "if she fails again don't worry about it she's seeing a neurologist for migraines so we'll leave it". I had come for an eye test, my neurologist is not an optometrist and I felt like I was being disregarded, especially after I'd explained the history that I had failed it previously. On the retake I failed again, missing spots in the top right. The optometrist reviewed it and disregarded the result saying that I was probably tired and lacking concentration. I left feeling let down and in doubt about the service I had received. Ive had the same issue arise twice now and to overhear what I heard and then to be told that I was tired is not what I would deem to be professional.

Everyone was very helpful both during the eye health check and while choosing my new pair of glasses

No comments on my side - everything was very smooth.

It was a really shambolic morning I had to call as well as book online as the process wasn't clear I wasn't given the info on the phone when I did call that I was needed to bring certain things. The contact lens optician was fine - the glasses check optician was really late so my appointment took from 8am - 9.50am with no word of apology. All the receptionists / assistants were rude and had terrible customer service when doing the peripheral vision and pressure tests not being able to explain what was happening or operate the machinery correctly. I felt awful and upset after the experience and was really late for work. The peripheral vision test wasn't completed properly and I didn't have time to do it as I was already so so late, but I won't be returning to feel like that again.

I would like to thank Andrea and Darshni for making my experience with boots opticians really good. The care and warmth delivered as a customer I felt very satisfied and also felt like I was in very good hands from start to finish.

Both the optometrist and trainee opticician consultant were rxtremely patient and took their time in listening to my concerns and were professional and responded to my needs
