All of the staff - Sarah, Shannon, Mackensie and Abi - were friendly, extremely helpful and courteous. I cannot speak too highly of the care I receive here - I have great confidence in them all. I highly recommend Boots Opticians in Northallerton.

The optometrist was lovely and it is to see her that I would return to this Boots branch. However, I cannot say the same for reception. When I went in to book the appointment I did not feel welcome, in fact it almost felt like I was a nuisance disturbing them! Whilst not so obvious, when I attended the appointment there was no warmth and I certainly would not have felt comfortable asking for anything! My husband had the same experience. Two years ago the receptionists were different to those encountered this year and were completely the opposite; they were warm, welcoming and helpful. If it was not for the optometrist we would not return.
