Now I'm not one to complain, but long story short I was told I needed glasses for the first time by a trainee optician. The glasses didn't help me but I thought that was my fault for being impatient and not leaving time to "adjust to them". After some months and speaking with others I was advised to go to Specsavers instead because it sounds like I didn't need glasses. I didn't need glasses. I spoke to boots about this as I felt cheated of paying around £250 for a pair of glasses I shouldn't have been prescribed in the first place. (I wasn't blaming the trainee, I appreciate we all make mistakes and she's learning) the manager was patronising and rude about how long this had been and I should have contacted them in the 30 day money back guarantee period that I wasn't aware of. I wouldn't have complained further if he had been a nice guy, He did offer me a free eye test and and a lense change to what I needed, which is pointless because I don't need glasses. I won't be going back, and by the way he spoke about me in the emails forwarded from the OCCS, I'm sure he will be happy I'm not returning.

My appointment was easy to book and the staff where extremely helpful, I was seen promptly when I arrived to my appointment and the optician was very helpful and explained everything to me throughout every step of my consultation. Once I had finished when picking my glasses they where helpful in finding the glasses that suited me best and didn't push the branded or expensive ones. I would highly recommend to anyone
