Polite professional service

I took my children for their 1st eye test. The whole experience was very professional and all the staff were very empathetic and explained everything to the children and I. My daughter was told she needed glasses as she has a lazy eye. We were given a fully detailed explanation as to what this was. My daughter become very upset at the shock and all the staff were very supportive and she left with a huge smile on her face.

Everyone just puts you at your ease and you don't feel rushed or hassled to make a decision. You feel that your views are listened to and acted on. When it comes to making choices, plenty of time is given and options are fully explained. The staff were all very helpful and friendly and I will definitely be returning in due course. I even got Boots points on my new glasses! Fantastic!

Very friendly staff, very knowledgeable optician, and great care and attention taken.

They were very busy but I got good customer care. I had spoken with a customer service assistant to arrange my appointment. By the time I went in for this she had the foresight to order in stronger lenses for me to try for a couple of weeks so I could decide whether to change my prescription. I was just expecting to chat and have a quick test. I was impressed. The optometrist found bumps on my eye and recommended a course of treatment and tried to get to the bottom of why this has declined. She was friendly and efficient; great customer service. Everything I have wanted to do with Boots Oakham has been 5 star. Certainly would recommend for other people to use.
