I am happy with my contact lenses appointment. Many thanks to nice gentleman David, who taught me how to put lense in. He was really patient and understanding.

this is a review for one of there staff on the desk the jolly ginger giant DAVID :) sorry bud hope you dont take it offencivly dont mean to be you dealt with me on tuesday 16th april you have such a great personalitiy and you have the patients of a siant you sat with me for nearly and hour and a half waiting for me to get my contact lens right and get them in and out properly i know you didnt need to do that and even the optimatrist came out and eas worried i was trying for too long but we were good he went above and beyond for me and he had the pateints of a saint with me anyone else would have given up ages before that but i was determind to do it he he great funny polite and most of all we had a laugh doing it he was proffesional curtious funny and very very very keyed up on what was going on he explained everything in detail and told it in laymans terms for me as did everyone else i delt with on the day i could not ask for more i am a 42 year old man and we had a scream even though he was doing his job he went above and beyond helping me get sorted and i really am greatfull for that he is loads of fun if he was like that with me he will be a scream for the kids and please be assured he is so keyed up with what happens and how it happens if you have any quieries at all then dont be affraid to ask he will bend over backwards to get the information he needs that if he dont know it but i am sure that he will please if you needyours or your eyes checking then please go see the guys at boots in the white rose they will all do there upmost to help you and please be assured they wont beffle you with big words or words you think are from a diffrent planet they are all great i suffer with anxaty and depression and i felt like i was out having a laugh with the lads and lasses at the store dont delay get it done today they will do everything they can to make you feel at home and at ease whe you are in the shop they dont make you feel like you cant ask or are affraid to ask they are all full of knowledge and are just busting at the seems to help llike i say all stores need more laim and david in them and they very nice lady with the pony tail shame she not single would have liked to get to know her more :):):):):):):):):):):)

i saw the young female rashen i think she was called could not ask for a better walked through everything for me explained everything for me was not lost at all normally they can get carried away with there technical terms but she didnt walked through everything including contact lens and the option of wearing them got to go back next weekand already book an appointment for my eldest boy to have his done there please if you need glasses or you got them go hear they break there back to help you and make usre you understand everythin you need to know about what is happening and what has happened not once did i need her to explain or repeat what she had said to me will not use anyone else from now on and every time i can i will put them forward for all my family and friends and there are alot of us that wear glasses in the family they found an astigmatism in my eye and i have to go to hospital to get it checked she told me that i would hear from my doctor within a couple of weeks and i hear from them in the space of 5 days they are good can not put in words how good they are they will go beyond to help there clients and make sure they are ok and there eyes are doing the job they are supposed to do please if you need it go there they will do everything to help you darren current client

LIAM on the counter the friendliest bloke you will ever meet so i thought straight forward explains everything in plain english told me what was happening as it was happening and all so i could understand him could not ask for a better bloke i didnt get lost once with what was going on with the paper work i have really bad anxiaty and he made me feel at ease about everything he introduced me to the optision went through my per checkes with me talked me through everything and i under stood all of it he used plain english no gobldy gook like most of them do could not as for a better experiance with him please please pleasse pass on my gratitude to him and if he was on a bonus then he deserves double for dealing with me lol could not ask for better first time experiance within the group happy friendly very people orientated and very understanding keep up the good work more stores need more blokes like you bud thanks for everything you did for me that day !!!!!!!!:):):):):):)

The worst opticians I have ever experienced! They don't make any attempt to contact you when things arrive at store! Plus a multitude of other dilemmas! I spent £600 on a new pair of designer glasses and presribed ray ban sunglasses My initial appointment was good. I opted for the orange mirror ray ban sun glasses. I asked if they would lose any of the mirror effect from being prescribed and was told this wouldn't happen. I made a point of saying I want them to be mirrored. My new glasses arrived before my sun glasses so I went and had them fit. A week later I phoned up to check on my sun glasses and they had arrived. When I went into store I explained one of my eyes was a little sore. They said to let it settle down for a week. It was around 2 weeks later we had some brilliant sunshine so I decided to get my sunglasses out and what a disaster! They looked bright purple and not mirrored. This is exactly what I didn't want. Plus my eyes are still very store. I went back to store with the sunglasses and they said they would send them back to the factory. I also mentioned my sore eye and they said to get some eye drops. I used the drops for a few days but nothing changed. I went to a different opticians for an opinion who advised to get boots to do a retest which is what I did. They had got my prescription incorrect so they had to remake my glasses as well as my sun glasses. This is probably 4 weeks after my initial appointment. A week later my new glasses arrived followed by my sun glasses (I rang to check the store, they fail to contact you) - I was advised my sun glasses are yet again wrong. So they got sent back again for a 3rd time! And once again they came back rubbish. I was then recommended to change the colour of the mirror to blue. I reluctantly decided to give it a go. Whilst waiting for the 4th pair of sun glasses to be made I was still unhappy with my sore eye. I decided to go to a different opticians for an eye test and boots had got my eye test wrong twice! I did manage to get a refund but this is not fair. I had to go into the store numerous times and was left with no sunglasses over the summer as well as wearing an incorrect prescription for 6 weeks!! Stay clear of these, it's a bunch of young people trying to run an opticians for boots!

I was tested here after a poor sight test at Boots Opticians Morley. The Optometrist in the white rose branch was kind, friendly and caring unlike the Morley Optometrist which was on a Monday who could be heard talking intimate things with the Audiologist. I had another sight test done at specsavers after the poor treatment by the Morley store. I always purchase my glasses from Boots and they kindly offered me a free sight test before my purchase. Thank you Whiterose and to the Optometrist.
