Boots Opticians Halifax - Market Street

The optometrist was lovely explained every thing as she was testing my eyes. However when I came to collect my glasses three members of staff behind the counter started to talk about my nose saying whispering and laughing as I do have a bump on nose. I had a phone call from the manager of the shop in Halifax after I emailed Boots head office. He seemed to think they could be talking about another customer who had been in who had part of her nose missing and something he said about her cheek. When I questioned this it seems that she came in the week after me ? I shall never go into that store again. This really upset me as you can imagine.

The optometrist I saw was really friendly and clear in her explanations, recommended options for changing which contact lenses I am using to suit me and was very helpful in organising the next steps to me getting an up to date prescription and then trialling a new type of contact lens

Very busy branch but all the staff friendly and helpful. Price of glasses is extortionate by the time you've added all the extras on. Mine cost nearly 3x the indicated price on the ticket.

An excellent service

My appointment was thorough and very helpful. This is the first time I have used Boots Opticians and it is also the first time so much has been explained to me. It was informative and friendly, and very helpful. My only suggestion to other new customers is to allow extra time for your appointment - mine took longer than I was originally told.
