Boots Opticians Bridgewater

After the examination was told to wait for a staff member to help in choosing glasses. I was informed I needed glasses for reading as well as distance. It was assumed by the staff member that I would be purchasing both types of glasses. I explained I already had reading glasses and was advised that they would not 'cure' my stigmatism. I rang later the same day and advised I wanted to cancel the reading glasses which they eventually agreed to. I went to the Bridgwater shop and was told I had paid £100 for them when I had paid £115. After an argument it was found I was correct. A refund was duly given. Not sure if I was refunded correctly given the complicated pricing structure. Awful service and will be going elsewhere in the future

I went to Boots because although I had an eye test and bought glasses in Specsavers, I wanted another pair of smarter glasses for special occasions etc. I found a really nice pair of Ted Baker glasses in Boots in Bridgwater and was advised that they would be ready in 7-10 days. I booked an appointment for 16/6/18 to collect the glasses but popped in on 9/6/18 and my glasses were already there. The Optician could not have been more helpful, and I collected my glasses a week early. Well done Boots, excellent service.

The atmosphere was calm and I was given plenty of time and patience by the staff. I felt I was given the very best service possible. Thank you

It was my first eye test in 20 years and I wasn't sure what to expect. It was a very stress-free experience. Everything was explained so I knew exactly what was being done and why. The staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful and were only too happy to answer all my questions. Choosing the glasses was also much easier than I thought and I came away with ones that I am very happy with. Thank you all at Bridgwater - I should have done it years ago. I can't fault your service.

Very efficient and friendly service feeling very relaxed

The only issue I have with Boots Opticians in Bridgwater is the selection of glasses is not very large.

thought the service was very good. As I have a blood cancer and have been ill for 4 years I have had a lot of trouble with my left eye due to catching shingles and getting an ulcer in the cornea. I see very little through that eye now. But as I can still read quite a bit (better than watching TV for me) the optician went to a good deal of trouble to ensure my new glasses would aid my reading. I was very pleased with theservice I received My onlycomplaint was that the assistants doing the test where you press a button when you see a flash of light, did not realise I had a painful trigeminal nerve to the left part of my face due to the shingles and was still on gabapentin for the pain. Think they should have asked me or my wife if there was a problem in that area before going straight ahead. It is painful for me to press my forehead against the bar. the optician himself was very good and careful.

Great service for the whole family

Excellent care and customer service. The manager Dan at Bridgwater is a kind caring excellent person. I would highly recommend Boots Opticians in Bridgwater.

The experience at the practice was professional as you would expect. The only issue was, I had made a appointment online which was not recognised at the practice and had to make another appointment for a later date which waisted a bit of my time.
