The service provided was professional, from the time I arrived I was seen to take my details, then have the preliminary eye scans, before seeing the Optician for my actual eye test. As this session was finishing the next member of staff came into the room to take me over to browse my glasses, and to answer any questions I may have had. I really cannot fault the service I received from Boots Opticians, @ Bedford Harpur Centre

When I went for my eye test everyone was so friendly and made me feel special but when I had appointment to pick up glasses I phoned up the store and asked if they could post them to me as I was unable to get to store. A few minutes later I had a phone call from Wendy who said she would drop them to my house on her way home which she did. THE OVERALL SERVICE I ALWAYS RECEIVE FROM BOOTS HARPUR CENTRE IS ALWAYS FIRST CLASS BUT TODAY IT WAS GOING THE EXTRA MILE.

This is my first time going to the Boots opticians in Harpur Centre, in Bedford. So I went there on Saturday with my boyfriend to pick glasses and the lady who served us (Asian, wearing hijab) couldn’t stop flirting with my boyfriend which made the both of us very very uncomfortable. I’ve never experienced such unprofessionalism in Boots and will never return to this branch again! Boots really need to train their staff in how to behave around customers! So disappointing!

Received excellent service from Boots Opticians Bedford as always. The Optometrist Gags was very friendly, cheerful and professional. Explained everything very well in a simple way. Chloe did the pre tests and also helped in choosing frames. Chloe is very helpful & friendly. Great customer service skills. Well done Boots!

Extremely efficient and helpful staff. Didn't feel rushed at all and all the staff gave advice when asked. Very friendly and would definitely recommend Boots Opticians to others.

I went for a contact lens check as I received a letter in the post to say it was overdue and I would no longer receive my contact lenses to my home address. I had arranged an eye check at Bedford opticians some months back and when I arrived I was sent away as I was told it wasn’t due - why did they let me book it in the first placethen?! On leaving my contact lens check with a toddler, I realised I should have checked with Boots that my contact lenses would now go to home... so I called the store and spoke to someone who said, No, they wouldn’t be because now my eye check was overdue and she had no idea why that hadn’t been picked up during my contact lens check. So then I had to make another appt to come back to town with a toddler for a second appt that I’d been sent away from the first time around. I would leave Boots opticians if it didn’t involve lots of hassle and paperwork. Not impressed with the Bedford Boots opticians in any respect.
