I would not recommend nor go back to boots opticians ever agin in the future as after my eye check I was not offered my prescription, I was pressurised into buying glasses and I was not told that there is absolutely no back-out or returns policy once you have paid for your glasses. This is ridiculous considering within 45 minutes of buying my glasses, I had a change of heart and attempted to cancel the order, only to be told that theres absolutely no cancellations. This resulted in me having to spend £210 on glasses when I could have got them for half the price elsewhere. Perhaps this should be made clearer so people don't have nasty surprises like me.

The staff was very helpful and friendly and caring spent time helping pick out frames and made the test very relaxed.

My optometrist took great care with me and plenty of time getting my prescription right as I was having trouble with my focus going in and out. She was very patient and helpful and explained what she was doing when I was curious. I felt very cared for and am really happy with my experience.

Easy to book an appointment, was seen on time and visit was quick. Glasses should take a week.

Danielle the receptionist was very friendly and helpful, even laughs at my jokes. The Optometrist, who probably did tell me her name, but I do apologise for not remembering didn't make clear why I needed new glasses maybe it was a lack of understanding on my part. When I asked Danielle she looked at the results and said your eyes are ok,and That the left eye had improved so the left lens of your glasses doesn't need to be so strong. But I didn't feel it justified paying £135 for a new pair of glasses. I told the Optometrist that I'm a Diabetic and that I have an agreement with my doctor and the NHS that I will have a screening for complications every three years. She kicked Up a bit of a fuss about that, but it's my choice which my Doctor already knows about, and really it had nothing to do with her.She got me to sign a statement that I will Have screening every three years and she said she will send the statement to my Doctor. Is she allowed to do this?

Fantastic optician - she was clear and very diligent in her work. Probably one of the best eye tests I have ever had. Absolutely happy to recommend to anyone else

Very good

Excellent personalised care and I was given alll the time I needed to choose glasses. Not having the designer frames locked away made a big difference in having the opportunity to make a careful choice. Having to ask for each frame to be unlocked from the display at my last optician made me feel rushed and like I couldn't try on at my leisure.
