Opt. Sarupa Shah and the assistant Hashmita have been very helpful and answered my questions. Hashmita has been very patient when finding a new pair of glasses for me.

The worst optometrist I have encountered in my entire life (Ms Shah). Full of arrogance and a huge ego. Took my disabled child who is autistic and even he wanted to leave because he felt so uncomfortable with her. She would without a doubt get the first prize for being the worst optometrist in the U.K. Very damaging for Boots. We will never visit Boots whetstone Boots again. Even the reception staff provide a poor service. They frown as soon as a patient enters the opticians. Always been like this in the last 2 years. Needs serious intervention and a new management.

The staff at whetstone are lovely especially Nicola who can not do enough for everyone and efficient and lovely to deal with. There is a problem with the booking system as I was booked in for 10.40 but the text confirmed for 10.15 which I didn't look at as I already had made a diary entry. This meant that although I was on time I was late for the appointment according to the text. This happened to my husband on a previous occasion also.

Waiting time for appointments could be shorter and it'd be nice to be told what is going on/ have someone acknowledge there is a delay whilst waiting. Otherwise I can't fault the service. Both my kids were seen at the same time. Both needed new glasses. The help and advice given on what would work best for them and for my budget was second to none. Brilliant and lovely service and we all left smiling. Thank you

Phoebe only needed temporary corrective lenses, so no contacts were required. We have used this store for about a year. It is not convenient as we live a distance away, but we come back because of the staff here.
