I was not offered a copy of my prescription at any time. I find this to be disappointing as it reduces my options.

Great service. Very friendly and careing

I was really impressed with the staff at this branch. They were super helpful and worked particularly well as a team despite it being fairly busy whilst I was there for an eye test. It came across as a well run ship with a really friendly and helpful service.

I was first recommended to Boots Opticians at Cockfosters by my cousin Georgia who works there part time as I told her that I needed to get my eyes sorted by finally choosing glasses! Her reassurances of the outstanding service I would receive led me to make an appointment on Tuesday 1st August 2017. Georgia was not working on that day. I first met with Pauline who welcomed me most warmly. After she had taken down details and had undertaken my periphery vision test, I was examined by Jonathan. His efficient manner reassured me and his sense of humour helped to relieve my anxieties. I was then helped by a wonderful man called Matt who had the patience and skills to help me select the best frame. Given that this was something I should have done 2 years ago, I was thrilled that I was in good hands! Pauline helped in the final selection process too and I could not have asked for a more outstanding service! I really was made to feel very special and cared for and now I am looking forward to receiving my new glasses!! This is a miracle (given my reluctance to accept for the past 2 years that I need to wear glasses!). The previous high street opticians I had visited did not manage to secure this most important fact; that if your eye test confirms the need for a prescription, then sorting this out surely is THE next most important action. It is so refreshing these days to receive such a fabulous and personal customer service, where you are given quality time to make an important decision. I am just sorry that I did not approach this Boots Opticians earlier. However, I am now a fully fledged member and am confident that if I have any queries, I can return at any time and be treated with the same kindness, care and professionalism. It is wonderful to be able to have access to this service and team in my locality. Thank you to all the team at Cockfosters - a real asset to the corporate organisation of Boots Opticians but at the same time a very local and personal, individualised service for its community. Thank you!

Great explanations of my prescription and the ladies were very attentive in helping me choose my glasses.

Excellent optician. He saw me on time, gave me a thorough eye test and was patient, kind and helpful explaining everything as he went. I would highly recommend this optician. The staff in the shop were also very helpful when I choose my glasses.
