I came to my appointment with a problem. My optometrist had excellent technical diagnostic skills. He diagnosed my medical condition and thoroughly tested my vision when reading a book or reading a car licence plate. He was thoroughly professional. I didn't have a clue what was going on but it didn't matter because he told me exactly what to do. After he had completed his work his pleasant assistant tested my peripheral vision, helped me choose some glasses and fitted them for me. She had excellent customer service skills and she made me feel relaxed. I left the clinic feeling that they genuinely cared about me and that an action plan had been put in place to help correct my problem.

Everybody there was very understanding helpfull, and polite the customer service was excellent.

Although i was given a recommendation, I wasnt confident I was being given accurate information. It was almost as though i was tricked into believing I needed new lenses. I ended up paying for a new pair of glasses and adter having an eye test elsewhere, i was informed that there was very little difference in my sight between lenses and shouldnt have had to pay. Very disappointing considering ive been a customer with you for approx 5 years.

Book your appointment direct with the branch and not via the central Boots number. Mine was not properly recorded and I had to rebook

I have always used my opticians and I say my as it feels personal. My whole family use Boots even before it changed it's name. Over the years the range of issues we have had with our glasses or contact lens, the staff have been so helpful either staightening, repairing or replacing spectacles and couldn't be more helpful. I feel confident that they know our whole history and always advise well. I am glad for their support to my family always going above and beyond to sort our issues. I once went somewhere else as liked their frames but I was straight back to Boots as it wasnt same service, they make the difference.
