An excellent consultant in charge of an excellent team, all staff from the senior surgeon to the porters, conducting themselves in a most professional manner making my stay in the Spencer unit, Margate, most comfortable.
All involved a real credit to the Spencer Unit and hospital.

I was quite worried about this catch up appointment, it was the first since my cardiac arrest and I was worried I wouldn’t be able to ask my questions or that I wouldn’t have enough time. However, Dr Rosengarten was really thorough and kind, listening to all of my anxious questions and giving clear and considered advice. I felt I could trust what he was saying and he was very knowledgeable. This was extremely reassuring! He also knew my ‘case’ and needs really well and gave me information about my heart patiently and sensitively, without being worried about telling me all the facts.

Having attended Spencer Wing Margate for an appointment 12.30hrs 11/09/2023 it was discovered that I had been sent to the wrong hospital. Whilst still at Margate I received a phone call from Dr Rosengarton who apologised for the mistake and continued the conversation by asking about my current health. At the conclusion it was agreed that I would undergo other tests and a new appointment date would be made.

Dr James Rosengarten saw me in Spencer wing 6/2/2023 , he explained my condition , Atrial Flutter and recommended Right Atrial Ablation , this was carried out on 12/7/2023 , Heart Catheter Suite QEQM, he explained in detail the procedure and I was happy to proceed , during and throughout he explained what was going on and I was totally at ease , was discharged at 2.30 the same day all went well , thank you , Michael Goodall

Dr. Rosengarten has seen me through all my cardiac treatment and has listened to my thoughts as a patient and acted decisively to carry out my suggestion. The only improvement that I can think of would be in methods of communication. The ability to communicate by email could speed things enormously and leave an evidence trail, though I understand that there may be problems I have not considered.
