Boots Opticians York, Monks Cross

the optometrist m. o. sadiq was very professional and gave me lots of information on my eye health due to a cataract that I have, though doesn't need any surgery as yet. I have had excellent care and advice over the past few years when I have visited the monks cross boots opticians. thank you.

I have used this branch for years but this year I felt I was an inconvenience to the optometrist, I felt that it was rushed and I never got any of the results from the photos or the pressure check which were done after seeing the optometrist, complete shambles. When I got home I realised I was never given my prescription so I had to return today for it, I never even got a apology for not been given it. They had to print one off so it has no signature on it. I am now having to go for another eye test and even though I am diabetic I have to pay for it as your only allowed 1 per year, and I am not trusting the one I have just had. I would think this will be my last visit to Boots and I can speak for my wife as well as she was not happy with eye test which was done at the same time.

I was highly put at ease with the worries I was having with my eyesight when I booked my appointment on Friday 10th November 2017 at 3.05pm at the monks cross york branch. many thanks for a quick appointment and for putting my worries at ease.

I hadn't had an eye test for some time. The process was straightforward, the staff helpful and I didn't feel under any pressure at all to make a purchase.

I think it is a bit early to say up to now all went well. But i do not have my glassis yet. So really think i should fill this in when i reseve them. But i was told i can use my boots points to pay for them. Then on paying told by the same girl matter of 30 mins lather that i cannot use them. Did not want to make a fuss so payed for them
