Boots Opticians York - Coney Street

Optometrists have been very professional, friendly and responsible. But, unfortunately some certain customer assistants are not friendly enough: cold, a little bit arrogant, making buying glasses as a pure business (which is nothing wrong, but, still, unpleasant). Switched to another optician in the end as I appreciate more friendly people who really listen to my thoughts and give honest responses, instead of simply saying "yes" or "no". Switched to another optician which is much more friendly.

I found all the staff extremely helpful, professional and friendly. Arusa Saeed the optometrist was excellent - very thorough, reassuring and provided an explanation of the test at each stage. Overall I was very pleased with the service I received and the staff could not have been more helpful.

I was pleased with the great care I received whilst having my eyes tested at Boots. Everything was explained to me as she went along, which help to put me at ease. The staff were very polite and kind to me. My eyes were examined thoroughly and professionally. I'm always pleased with the service I receive. Thank You!

All the members of staff I spoke to were attentive, helpful and friendly. There was no rush at all with the optometrist or the choosing of spectacle frames. Arusa was patient, friendly and took time to explain exactly which aspects of my vision she was assessing and what her findings were. I had my eye tested by Arusa. she was very professional, thorough, friendly,caring and I would definitely recommend her to family and friends.

I had most of the generic tests with one person except for the field of vision test. This was conducted by a different person, who gave the impression of not being very familiar with the softwate, following my appointment with the optometrist.

Arusa was really helpful - good advice. First time that a prescription was given, the first time I saw a difference with glasses. Helpful, understanding. could not ask for more. Appointment was easy to make make online with convenient times

Arusa Saeed was wonderful, helpful, a good listener, and she kept giving me precious advice , and she was doing her job very rightly. I highly recommend her.

Very clear & friendly. Appt' for my 8yo. Only issue was having to spend £15 on Optrex spray!!!!
