Boots Opticians Worthing - Montague Street

All the staff were very professional and friendly. One new staff member was receiving instruction but I was asked if I was happy with this which I was as everyone has to learn. All advice from the optometrist was well explained. A thoroughly enjoyable experience.

First of all, they messed up my appointment times then tried to blame me when it was their mistake. The optician I saw was fine although they forgot to do part of the test which meant I had to go back another time to get it done so very inconvenient. I didn't receive any apologies. And after going back a few times about glasses they make you wait ages to see anyone. Sometimes there's no one on the counter for a very long time and you can hear chatting coming from the back. A lot of the male staff are condescending and very rude. In the end I didn't buy any glasses from them and went to Specsavers instead which had a better choice of glasses, much less expensive and a much better service! I will not be returning to Boots Opticians in Worthing.

Several members of staff at the Worthing branch are rude, unhelpful and treat customers with no respect - I will not be returning to this branch as I have felt on the last few visits that I was nothing but an inconvenience. I 100% recommend the Goring branch. Staff here are the total opposite. The whole team here are professional, polite and very efficient. Its a shame the Worthing team can't pick up a few tips from them or at least have some training in customer service.

The optometrist seemed to be extremely thorough, and was very pleasant.

This was the first time after many years of trying contact lenses that I was shown properly how to use them. I was able to use them straight away. The lady with curly hair who showed me at Worthing Boots was patient and has genuinely changed my life.
