Boots Opticians Wood Green - High Road

Came to do an eye test and buy 2 glasses. Appointment was at 15, was checked fairly quickly and then told to wait 10 minutes. Waited 1h without notice from any of the staff. Went on to make a verbal complaint to the opticians store manager, which was not in branch, but was seen by the doctor that had to compile the eye test results. She apologised and said that they had an emergency. I couldn't care less of their emergencies as long as I was not told one single thing . Ended up going across the street to Specsavers. Was seen without an appointment in 5 minutes, got the results in another 10 and by the 30 minute mark I had paid and was out of the store. AVOID WOOD GREEN BOOTS OPTICIANS LIKE THE PLAGUE! Not even a complimentary voucher to say sorry... where did you learn customer service? Appalling

The whole experience was very professional I was informed at every stage what was being done. The choosing of frames took me a very long time and at no time was I rushed. Danielle was very patient with me and helped me a great deal.

Your pricing policy is not particularly clear. I was never told how a pair of frames that were £115 with single vision lenses turned into a £425 pair of glasses with light sensitive varifocals. It would have been very helpful if the whole cost of the glasses were broken down and would have made the customer experience less like purchasing a used car.

The optometrist gave a good advice and the consultation was efficient, also the tests were performed efficiently.

All the staff were nice & polite. The optometrist talked me through the eye test and told me what she was doing and why she was doing it. I had an all round great experience and would definitely recommend Boots Opticians Wood Green - High Road

I had a really great experience, the optometrist was friendly and professional and very clearly explained the changes in my prescription and what my options were. I had an eye test and contact lens assessment, the lady who taught me how to put the lenses in was also great, I will definitely return to this branch of Boots from now on as it far exceeded experiences I've had in a rival opticians nearby. I have already recommended to my family. Thank you!

The welcome and care I received was absolutely wonderful, the staff were friendly and efficient I wasn't left waiting at anytime, from my experience I would never go to any other opticians again other than Boots, I even got points added to my boots card
