Boots Opticians Wood Green - High Road (in Boots)

On Boots website there is no mention that an OCT scan will cost you an extra £21.On arrival to my appointment I had to wait about 10 minutes before anyone came, making it look like staff are not turning up for work. Finally the optician who saw me behaved a bit unprofessionally, showing no patience, almost making me feel that I'm a waste of her time, when I didn't understand what she was asking me to do. The way I was spoken to was AT TIMES beyond acceptable, bordering on rudeness.

Excellent service by Nasera, Michael and Aga. Would definitely tell people to visit them. They were very helpful in letting me know my best options and what I should have done on my glasses.

Very bad serivce no-one knew what they were and and very rude to customers.

I always feel a little unsafe leaving may handbag in the room while going for other tests.

On my initial visit to book an appointment, I was disappointed with the receptionist who requested that I come back at another time to make the booking as she seemed to be overwhelmed with work. As I could not return in the time that she had suggested, I had to wait for the following week to book the appointment, fortunately for me with a different more friendly sales assistant (Michael).

Boots Opticians have a fantastic team of highly professional and friendly staff who always greet you with a smile and will go the extra mile to ensure your ophthalmology needs are met. I have seen Sarita on several occasions for a contact lens consultation/check up and she has always been highly knowledgable about the various brands and breathability of lenses as I have dry eyes. The reception staff and assistants have also been very approachable - Neal has extreme levels of patience, particularly when I was struggling with my contact lens teach - it took me a while to get the lenses in and out! Thank you to everyone at Boots for always providing the highest levels of customer service and genuine care. 10/10!
