I called to arrange the appointment for a minor eye condition service. The staff who answered the phone took a booking. I got there slightly early but had to wait 15-20 mins before seeing the optician who told me Boots does not provide this service any more (even it is on the list of Haringey NHS service). I understand that she does not want to do this service but should have told me before I left home for the appointment.

I dealt with Rita Clancy who was very helpful and professional. The optician was pleasant and efficient. I am pleased I did not need new glasses as your prices are O.T.T as I am sure most opticians are, Two years ago I had new prescription and bought a second pair half price. ( which was ok). I wanted to to keep one of the frames should I need a new prescription as I like them very much and was given a quote of almost double the price. I find this unacceptable. M. Vaughan Code 3170

I was tended to by an extremely caring dispensing optician called Nicola, who stayed 45mins overtime just to see that I chose glasses which I liked. This is a perfect example of an employee who makes the customer feel like a valued individual - as I was able to leave feeling accomplished and unrushed in my decision. Due to this experience, I have written this review in the hopes that it can help any other blind miopics out there like me, thank you!

My appointment was easy to make but was rearranged by them twice. I was told at my appointment that the machine that takes photos of the eye was broken and I would have to go back to do this. It took a lot of attempts to get it in the right position for the peripheral vision which was very frustrating and time consuming. Based on this experience I am not sure I will return to Boots for eye exams in the future.

One of the machines wasn't functioning, but I was told to come in any time without needing to make an appointment, to complete that part of the eye test. I don't have any recommendations on how to improve the service otherwise.

As my second appointment to Boots I was less satisfied, and felt not enough attention was given to recommendation options and explaining my condition. Saying that, my first appointment was excellent so I suppose is hard to beat. Never the less, professional enough, and happy to try Boots again (at least the next time around).

I found everything was great staff was extremely helpful in everyway including discussing before & after eye test including if they found anything wrong with your eyes & what can be done to help

I was late for 10 min. and was told that I could not see the practitioner: I was told that due to being lateI I had to wait until next customer comes. If the customer is late only then they'll see me. I felt disappointed and thought a waste of time. Not until the manager arrived that I was able to be seen emmidiatly. I do not recall being seen immidiately in previous appointments despite arriving on time.
