I found all the staff very helpful.

Nicola Beale was very professional and covered all my questions. Very polite and gave me a very good guide about the tests and the different glasses I would need. Aziza was a very helpful lady when doing my eye test. All the staff helpful and polite made my appointment very pleasant and relaxed .

Whilst the optometrists are very helpful I continually find the front of house staff lacking in good customer service. They do not acknowledge your arrival straight away and on occasions I have been left waiting a considerable amount of time before even getting any sort of acknowledgement. they have no desire to resolve any issues almost to the point of a couldn’t care less attitude and don’t seem bothered if you walk out dissatisfied.

For the last four times I have had an appointment I did not get to see the the optometrist for at least 25 -30 mins after the scheduled appointment time, the appointment was absolutely excellent but why give a patient a time to attend and then not be able to see them when they arrive. Fortunately I planned for this eventuality but other patients there were becoming frustrated as they had taken time out of work to have their eyes tested and where becoming agitated

Boots should make it clear that you need to make 2 appointments if you want an eye test and use contact lenses.

Everything explained clearly, but not hurried at all.
