Awful experience and shall never return. Head office not prepared to involve itself in a complaint due to this being a franchise store. Unable to go in to details due to external escalation at this time, but will edit at a later date.

Strong impression that commercial interests outweigh their professional duty of care. It is a franchise which reflects poorly upon Boots.

I found your Abingdon branch boots assistant Nigel to be most helpful going totally out of his way to assist me with a short notice appointment. A polite, highly knowledgeable individual who was able to professionally advise me on all the options available in choosing my glasses making it so much easier The service I received was excellent in all respects I am very pleased with my new glasses and will without doubt be a returning customer to Boots Opticians

An excellent all round experience. All members of the team were friendly. Nigel helped me choose frames which suited me, saving me time. The glasses were cheaper than I was expecting, which was a bonus. Nigel adjusted my other glasses (bought from a competitor), making them more comfortable to wear. Nigel also fitted my new glasses, providing service with a smile.

The optometrist was very friendly, chatty and good with my son as it was his first eye test

Everyone was very friendly. The eye test was thorough. The lady helping me to select my glasses was very knowledgeable. Not sure what could be improved.

Very welcoming & infinitely patient staff, in particular Nigel Johnson, Natasha,Maggie & Ayesha. The optician Mr Khan, was very helpful & understanding and he willing spent ages adjusting my varioficals to my own exacting requirements !! My husband would also like to mention that Mr Khan was extremely helpful resolving a problem on a prescription from a rival optician. Would thoroughly recommend this Abingdon team to anyone needing an optician & wanting great customer service.
