Boots Opticians Wimbledon - Centre Court Shopping Centre

A good experience. The optometrist was efficient and professional and gave good advice (I don’t know her name). I was then looked after extremely well by Ravi who helped with the specification and the choice and fit of my frames - with which I am delighted!

They cancled my appointment just few hours before. And was offered another appointment a MoONTH later in a week day. When I asked for an appointment in weeked same as my cancled appointment they said I have to wait for so long. like one month wait is not long enough! worst customer service I ever had to deal with

Visited on 13th April for my regular yearly appt.Very busy Centre. Good awareness of Covid regulations. Was seen by Kiran Gurmail, Optometrist.I was very impressed with the Professionalism of this young gentleman. All aspects of my eye Tests were explained in great detail and he took great patience in explaining the results.

Excellent Opticians, they have given me plenty of time for an unusual problem that I have. Rose is a superb human being and optician. her hard work and efforts greatly appreciated. :)

Making an app over the phone was easy and professional. I brought my 84 years old dad for an eye test to Wimbledon Boots Center. The Optometrist on duty that day was very irritable, impatient and extremely unprofessional. I was absolutely shocked that a doctor can even behave in such manners especially when the patient is an elderly 84 years old who needs that little extra time for check up. What shocked me the most is her rolling her eyes when I commented on her unprofessional behaviour. After, the checkup with Optimetrist, we waited for about an hour for someone to order the glasses.. it was very clear that this member of staff was very poorly trained and was really strangling to use the computer and was constantly looking for someone to help her. All in all very existing and poor experience st this branch.

I only use this optician because one of the team is excellent (Rose). The phone is never answered and I had to wait over an hour for my last appointment. Staff seem disorganised and lost a letter I gave them for my optician before I even left the store.

The staff were super friendly, and informative . Shaima , who helped me with the glasses , is a particular pleasure to be around. She was extremely helpful, professional, friendly, and exceeded the definition of 'good customer service' Great experience, consultation was on time and optometrist was friendly and knowledgeable. I interacted with three different staff member during the appointment and each excelled themselves. I couldn't recommend them enough.

This was my first (and will be my last) use of this opticians. I experienced a dis-organised group, some of the staff were completely unprofessional. My simple eye test and new glasses took 4 hours long, in which time I was given conflicting information, had to have tests repeated as only a few of the staff seemed to know how to use the equipment. I left wondering what qualifications anyone had who had carried out the eye test. In addition, one of the 'technicians' asked for me to use my reading glasses for one of the assessments instead of my normal glasses I wear for my short-sightedness - when I explained I don't have or need additional reading glasses, she was adamant I did! Absolutely adamant! I've not experienced anything like this before and I was shocked. One of her colleagues tried to explain my prescription to her, but she was having none of it! - discussing loudly in front of other customers and staff what she knew was best for me! This terribly poor standard of professionalism, training and understanding should not be allowed. The whole experience made me feel humiliated and patronized. I'm now concerned whether the new glasses I have ordered through Boots will actually be the correct prescription for my eyes. I will certainly not be using any of the services of Wimbledon Boots Opticians again. I would have no confidence that if there were health issues or problems with my eyes this store would have the ability to detect them.
