Prompt but selection of kids glasses could be better

The optician had good knowledge, which she was willing to share with me when asked. She was friendly, patient and seemed interested in my eye care. She kindly offered to make a note to let me know when your daily use Oasys brand becomes available. The appointment generally went OK. However, unfortunately when the optician applied eye drops, the plastic tip applied to my right eye touched the bottom of my eye enough to make me jump. My right eye began to water somewhat more than the left eye during the examination and started to hurt. I have had eye drops applied many, many times over the years and have never suffered this problem before. The optician recognised the issue and at the end, she gave me three Blink Vials to use. I used one before I left because of the discomfort I felt. The optician reassured me that my right eye should be OK but I didn't realise that it would still be hurting the day after. I am using eye drops (that I usually use for dry eyes, to help to ease the unexpected discomfort, and I am using more than I usually would). I am going away on Sunday and a little concerned that I will not be available to return to you if it continues inordinately. As my right eye is still painful, I am going to need to purchase some more vials as I feel I need to keep some in my bag all the time as I am concerned that it may continue longer than I expected. Helpful and friendly staff. Optician clearly explained my eye test results and her recommendations. The dispenser was also helpful when I was considering options for lenses.

Went in to book an appointment and was offered a cancellation 30 mins later. Easy appointment, little waiting time, machine diagnosis seemed to work well but reassuring to have it backed up by the optician as well. All staff very tuned in.

Alisha was her name and she was truly a professional who love her job in my opinion. She gave me ample time as I was a little bit in pain. Strayed me with dignity and respect. She appears to pay attention to detail as to what she does. I felt comfortable and trusted my care in her hands. I will surely recommend booth Balham and Aisha for that matter to families and friends. Thank you.
