Boots Opticians Wallingford

I went into the store without an appointment to buy a new pair of spectacles. I was seen by Elena who rang the Wallingford store where I had purchased my last pair just to confirm the details of what I had had before. She then advised me of the most appropriate choices to make. I was confident that she knew exactly what she was doing and was meticulous throughout. When I asked her to remove my late husband's details from the database she showed great compassion and took time to talk to me whilst I was feeling upset. She never indicated that she should be doing something else. I felt she went well beyond what I would have expected or deserved, and I thank her for it.

My eye test was on May 15th. at 12.00. The test was done by Jan Hartley. Every year my eyes are tested and I have used Boots, Wallingford . I have to say whilst each appointment has been extremely satisfactory , my session with Jan was superb. She took time to explain the results,discussed the change from the previous year and was courteous, caring and very professional. My wife had an earlier timed appointment at 11.30. She has asked me to echo my comments about Jan as well. An excellent optician who deserves singling out for her dedication and expertise . Thank you Jan Jeremy & Valerie

I would like to express my appreciation and thanks to the staff at Boots Opticians, Wallingford, Oxon, OX10 and, in particular, to Jan, who dealt with me. I was seeking advice about 'floaters' in my left eye, which were causing me concern. Jan explained, in detail, the symptoms and possible causes of floaters, then examined my eyes and put me through a number of tests to establish that my eyesight had not been affected. I left feeling extremely reassured and grateful for having received such professional treatment.
