Boots Opticians Sutton - High Street

Went to Sutton Boots opticians for an eye test on Sunday 30th April 2023. It was really a good experience, as I was taken care of right from the start from the waiting area to the test room. After the initial test of my vision and occular pressure measurement, I was referred to the optometrist. Abeda was really very professional in her approach and explained to me every bit of the test and made the appropriate referral to my GP for a catarct review and possible cataract operation. Highly recommended optician for a good service.

It’s a pretty bad experience we had from boots eye test. Though we said normal eye test, they insisted saying for optician to verify, we need to have a check from their instrument and ended up with 3D eye image check in addition to the optician test. I believe it’s clearly looting the money from customers without knowing them in advance. We ended paying 50£ for the basic eye test. I prefer not to go with Boots eye test check Sutton. We clearly mentioned that we need basic eye test but they did 3D eye check to claim additional 25£ from customer. Bhargavi v

Absolutely brilliant service from all staff. From every level- from the student optician to the manager, everyone who did the testing and glasses fitting and sales was very thorough and professional. Highly recommended.

I did NOT have an eye test as I was told I would have to pay as test was not due until December. Then I mentioned that I wanted new glasses it changed to Oh you won’t have to pay. I was disgusted!! I have been using Boots for many years and spend £400-£600 each time and am extremely disappointed that I could not have an eye test 6/8 weeks early. I am not sure if I will use Boots again

The optometrist was very professional and friendly. The staff on hand to choose new frames with my daughter were friendly but not really helpful. They were not helping narrowing down our choices and taking our tastes into consideration. Next time, we'll choose a frame before making the appointment.
