My appointment time slot was well over an hour late before I got seen, they were so very slow that I ended up paying a lot for parking. The excuse was that there was a ninety year old deaf women in front of me that took a lot of time. Ok, but they could have apologized and offered me a free drink or something. My new glasses then took over three weeks to make, despite my others being broken and as I am a draftsperson I was desperate for new ones... ..... when I finally went back to collect them they were fitted really badly, and after a week I was struggling to see and also had a big sore on the side of my nose. I then realized how wonky they were sitting on my face, so I went back again, had them checked and realigned so at least they sit straight, but they have rubbed my face raw, both tops of ears and my nose is so sore. ShalI I go back again or just cut my losses and buy another £500 pair from my old optician. Never had this trouble before - very disappointing

I have been gong to the same opticians for years and have always received first class treatment Ian, the optometrist, has always taken time to explain everything to me. Over the years Carole has always been friendly, efficient and patient especially when helping me to choose suitable frames!

Great service from start to finish. Optometrist Nikita was very thorough and we discussed my Varilux options - I have a high prescription as am very myopic but now also need a reading adjustment. Aled (dispensing) was excellent, patient, accurate and thorough in helping me choose some new ultralight frames + lens options. Other staff - Carde and Agnis were also very helpful. Recommended.

Appointment should be kept to schedule and customer informed of delays. Unlike our appt which we did get to keep as staff were unprofessional and allowed us to wait fir 30mins and when i asked for an update i got nothing. Really disappointed wont recommended boots opticians to friends and family.

The optometrist I saw was more than helpful and took great care to inform me of my eyes, the state of the cataracts to calm my worries and also took time to find a possible solution to me eyes watering and the tears stinging. I was completely satisfied with her help and recommendations.

My experience was a good one. The optician who did the test was extreme thorough. She also asked me to return if I did not get the eye clinic appointment that I need soon for her to do a further more intense examination invol ing eye drops. Very impressed

I had my original appointment cancelled an hour before hand as apparently the optometrist was off sick (this was only realised at 10.30 opppsed to first thing in the morning) When arriving for the appointment after waiting for 10 mins I was then advised I couldn't have the contact lense appointment as the wrong test had been booked in the system - after complying for 10 more minutes I was miraculously told I could have the contact lense test This is really poor service
