Tom had checked my eyes and spoted something wrong sent me to st pauls eye hospital right away were i was diagnosed with dry eye and this was what wad causing my head aches eye ache and pressure, i have to use compression on my eye vouple times a day and have drops feel so much better thanks to Tom . I have now been back to thank Tom and pick my lovely new glasses they will be ready for pick up 10days , i feel relieved all is going to be well with my eye .

I felt it was an extremely thorough eye check which was explained at each stage. From the beginning of the eye test to choosing my glasses I was looked after by the same person offering excellent advice and never pressurising for a sale.

Excellent service. A warm welcome from optical assistant Shevaun who explained and carried out the pre-test. Then Elizabeth the optometrist took me through the results of the pre-test, checked the health of my eyes and determined which lenses would give me the best vision possible. Her friendly manner put me at my ease and she was very thorough. Then Shevaun helped me to choose some glasses. She was very attentive and patient. There was no pressure to buy. She guided me through the lens options and I was very pleased with my choices. Shevaun made the whole experience pleasurable.

More selection is needed for bigger frames in the womans section. Had to choose from the mens setion as they didnt have frames to suit me.

The optometrist was very thorough, clearly explained the tests, results and future monitoring. He was very professional and reassuring. When I paid and collected my prescription, I explained to the optical assistant (male) I was not ready to choose glasses on the day due to having a hair appointment within half an hour from finishing my appointment. I asked why my PD was not completed, he said we don't give that measurement out unless I was buying glasses at Boots. This made me feel very uncomfortable indeed. What he didn't know was I had already seen two pairs over £200 each however I did not have time to choose. I certainly won't be going back to buy. I would however recommend the optometrist.

Found staff booking in appointments to be very rude. I was 3 minutes late for my appointment. I understand that this can cause issues and I would have been happy to rearrange if it was a problem, however your staff member booking in appointments had a very bad attitude and seemed to go on a power trip! She informed me I was late and she would have to check with the optometrist who was stood behind her they had the conversation in front of me and it seemed to cause no issue for him and my appointment was kept.

As always, all staff were great.All test done on time & all explained what was going on, only thing you could do to improve, tell me this weeks lottery numbers.
