All the team members I spoke to today were polite and helpful, being considerate of my hearing impairment and age. The team member who gave the tests before the eye test spoke clearly and explained what she was doing The optometrist was also considerate of my hearing impairment. She explained what she had to do and all the steps during the test. She was very thorough. The team member who helped me choose my new glasses was very helpful and patient. She explained all the options and prices before I made my final decision. Well done all team members.

After years of being on the boots contact lens scheme, I am surprised at the recent lapse of organisation. My lens scheme was cancelled for no reason, and I was not told about it. After weeks of trying to phone boots Ilford, I finally got through. When I asked where my new contacts were, I was told I had to come in for another lens check, despite only recently having one. After my appointment, the scheme was reactivated and I was told I’d have to wait three months for my new lenses. I was given only a months supply to tide me over, and told to call customer services to speed up the process. It is not my fault that my scheme got cancelled and I am not happy that I have to run around trying to find another two months supply. Not very happy.

My experience was extremely pleasant. The optometrist was very helpful and extremely informative. The dispensing optician, Amrit has helped me previously when I had issues with my glasses. Today again she was very helpful from start to finish. I have no hesitation what so ever in recommending Boots Opticians
