Boots Opticians Gloucester - Eastgate Street (in Boots)

Very impressed with the gloucester Eastgate Street boots opticians, very welcoming on my arrival. With great social distancing and cleaning, before and after me having my test done. I felt very safe. Thank you to, Hannah for helping me decide on a great pair of glasses too. I've had lovely complements.

Firstly, I wasn't kept waiting many minutes before my pre-tests were done and these were done efficiently and with politeness. My time with the optometrist was conducted with patience and thoroughness. I was particularly happy with the time he took to explain things to me, from the reasons for the changes that had happened to what the photos were showing about the state of my eyes. His manner was professional throughout.

It is always a problem with the voucher. I keep taking free eye test vouchers and then told I have to pay for some reason, such as "not free because you didn't but a pair of glasses". Next time I'll be going elsewhere, not that you aren't good but because you aren't clear with your vouchers and I feel cheated.

No waiting for my appointment. Explanation of tests and what to expect. Discussed previous results against today's results. Did not use jargon and communicated well. Team worked well together and communicated well with each other and customers. Was given all options to make my own informed personal choice

Boots have 2 stores on the same street. My appointment was book in one store, but due to staff being ill i was asked head over to the other store. Not a problem in its self, but they need file taking to the other store, this resulted in my appointment starting late.
