We went without an appointment to get a lens fitted back that had fallen out of my husband's glasses. An assistant called Morgan did this promptly and it has stayed in ever since! She also polished the lens and helped us to choose two pairs of sunglasses. She was very friendly and respected the limitations of our budget!

I have been ringing them for days and there is never any answer you just get relocated back to the main menu and no one answers. I used to find them good but to book an appointment over the phone is useless, the same if you want to speak to anyone in the department. I prefer to book over the phone as I like to have one particular optician who is good.

I writing to complain about the service at Broadmead. I have just come away after requesting a small repair of a screw When I got home they had put the wrong glasses in my case when they returned them. They were a similar model of glasses except they were not bifocal I never checked I had been given the wrong glasses before leaving the store. I am going to return tomorrow to retrieve them. There is some history to this and if necessary I am going to make a formal complaint a little higher about this.

The optician was friendly and professional. The sales assistance Cara spent alot of time with both my husband and myself helping us to choose frames and making recommendations. An excellent service

I had my appointment rearranged three times and the last time was on the day. I couldn’t have the appointment I needed due to staff sickness. I understand this but if this had been communicated to me earlier then I wouldn’t of had a wasted trip. I will now move my eye care to a different store. I usually have great service with boots and have had no concerns previously.

I have been with Boots for many years now and have always been very satisfied with my visits. Only recently there has been a little inefficiency in not returning my calls and a little lack of communication in my following up a medical concern where my corrective eye surgery was cancelled. And my surgeon advised a hospital referral. My recent visit was very thorough and reassuring with my best interest at the foremost. I was also given sound advice not to change my lenses until post referral appt.

The reason I like the boots optometrist so much is that they take their time! I used to go to Specsavers and felt I'd been rushed through without care and given a poor prescription. At boots I'm given time to get used to the process, ask questions, ask for things to be repeated, and they really drill down to the tiny letters to help make my vision as good as it can be. This week it turned out my poor eye sight was a result of early onset cataracts. I can't speak highly enough of the optometrist who took her time to diagnose the problem and explain every step. I found the whole thing rather emotional so was incredibly grateful for her support and care. Graham Wyatt
