I am very pleased with the level of service I received. Upon arrival the staff were friendly and attentive. My eye-test was thorough and clear; the optician has a lovely manner and took the time to explain several things to me. Upon receiving my prescription, one of the assistants helped me look through several possible frames, and made suggestions for which ones would suit me most, and what would be the best option in terms of lenses. I was very grateful to everyone for making it such a pleasant, straightforward experience. The one thing I do have to say is that the frames and lenses are rather expensive, and there is not a huge amount of variety. This led me to choose to purchase glasses elsewhere, but this is an issue for Boots as a whole rather than the people who served me.

Caring staff! The optometrist took the time to explain every test he did and what he was doing. And also the reason! If I didn't understand he would explain in detail,he also used words I understood. I didn't feel silly asking questions. The setting and lay out was private so service users were able to discuss personal concerns in private. I am really going to miss the warm and welcoming service they provide.

It's a shame that this specific opticians is closing next month, it was probably the best and most thorough check I had done since the first time I got glasses.

The staff were all very friendly and knowledgable, they supported me well with my decisions and helped entertain my child so I could try on glasses.

Very easy to book online and the appointment time was kept accurately (i.e. I wasn't kept waiting). Thorough examination and explanation of results gave me great confidence that all is well with the health of my eyes.
