Boots Opticians Manchester - Market Street

I met several members of staff and everyone was professional, attentive, kind and friendly. I was cared for. I walked away having the sense of recieving a great all-round service. Thank you.

Went in to market St branch today with my mum Sophie who was helping us chose frames was friendly patient polite and extremely understanding and although we did not find a frame today Sophie was all the above and more

Most of this is not relevant to me. I have always found the opticians very professional and helpful but you administration this morning was appalling. I arrived at ten to be told that no optometrists had turned up and my appointment was cancelled. There was a problem with the phones so it was not possible for me to be informed.This is not the first time this has happened. You need to improve your communication systems and maybe employ more optometrist. The staff I dealt with were courteous but had been put in an impossible position

Really great experience at Boots Manchester Market St opticians. My frames broke due to a manufacturing error and straight away I received amazing customer service from Chris and Franc who sorted everything for me. Really good communication, kept me updated at all stages. The team here are great. Thank you! I highly recommend.

Great experience at Boots Opticians Market Street today. Minimal waiting time, efficient process, Toni the optician was great, as was the man on the front desk who adjusted my glasses for me.

Were do I start, rangfor a full day on and off for appointment market st Manchester just rings out in the end I dont live local so got a train the next day to make appointment . Went waited 5 mins at desk for receptionist told to sit down 20 mins later I was called in but my husband who also had an appointment was still sat there 30 mins later we had a drs appointment and couldn’t wait any longer spoke to a lady and told her she said have you not been told over20 mins running late and two more people before us. Nobody told us anything . Made an appointment for following sat but when we arrived home couldn’t make it so spent another morning on two phones to get through no answer rang customer services head office who made an appointment for us but that was hard work as well was booking us In For Sunday looking at wrong month omg why do we bother N I can’t really answer the question about the optometrist as didn’t get that far

I would like to express my thanks to Mr Sean Evans-Gould. He performed the sight test with me on 28 April 2018 at Boots Market Street Manchester. I asked to book in with Sean specially because I did a test with him before and I was impressed by both his expertise and service. Sean is very knowledgeable and professional. He went above and beyond to ally my concern. I came out from the sight test happy and full of positivity. It was a remarkably enjoyable experience. I have no reservation in recommending Sean to other people.

Sat for 40 minutes waiting for no reason. Tried to charge me for a free test when she knew it was a free test. Said she would order lenses, didn’t. Given the wrong information and turned away a week later.

I had an eye test and contact lens refit with Shreya, the service was very good and Shreya took lots of time to explain everything and answer my questions. I've had many eye tests before but don't always feel at ease enough to ask all the questions I feel silly asking, but Shreya made feel comfortable from the start. After my appointment I was helped by Stephen to choose some glasses. His customer service was exceptional. He was super friendly and chatty, I was being the ultimate awkward customer totally indecisive but he was amazingly patient. I was wary of trying any coloured frames and told Stephen they were a definite no go. Every now and then he'd suggest a coloured frame and persuade me to try it on. He wasn't pushy at all, and I ended up finding my perfect frames which are partly pink! I never would have picked them up if it wasn't for him. More than 6 months on and I still love my glasses more than any Ive had before. I've been meaning to write this review for a long time but just not got round to it, the service was the best I remember having in a long time and I'd definitely recommend. My only downside is it can be difficult to get a weekend appointment unless booking well in advance.

Attended to promptly and efficiently. Very pleasant experience. Glasses I ordered arrived within 3 days
