Boots Opticians Chorlton

The optician was professional and very thorough. and she explained everything clearly.. Aiusha assisted me to select the frames. She was patient and extremely helpful. She took care of the ordering process for my new glasses and again was very helpfiul, explaining the various options and referring to the optician when clarification was needed. An excellent all round service.

Appointment same day for my 5 yr old daughter and other half, cannot vault service. Friendly staff. Cannot comment further as no glasses required but my daughter felt happy there

I left a voicemail requesting a callback to make 2 appointments for myself and my son. I did not hear back and called a week later again. During the 2nd call to make an appointment I was told that my notes could be requested from Boots Opticians at Trafford Centre (where I was last seen). On the day of the appointments (2/10/17) which were 1540 and 1620, the staff could not find the 2nd appointment. I kept asking fir clarification but she didn't even make eye contact with me. I also asked about my notes from the other Boots branch...again no effective communication was made with me. I took my son and his brother out of school early in order to make the 340pm appointment time. We arrived early however, when our appointment time came another patient went in. I assumed there must be 2 opticians. Fifteen minutes after our appointment time I asked about the delay as I had but been made aware of the appointment times running late. I explained that I had arrived early and that I also needed to leave by 445pm in order to get the boys to their gymnastics class. I had made staff aware of this when I made the appointment and was told that it would not be a problem. However, the only option I was given on the day was to rearrange the 2nd appointment. I had no choice but to leave without being seen for my appointment although I am having problems with my vision. I will not return to this branch as I have little confidence in them and the customer service is very poor.

I had a bad experience at Chorlton boots. I haven't been for an eye test for over 20 yrs and it was an awful and unprofessional experience. I do need glasses but I will not be getting them from boots and I will be go else where to solve my eye issue.

There was one space where a separate test was carried out that I found quite claustrophobic but this branch is in a very small shop so I understand that space is at a premium.

Excellent optometrist. Very thorough eye examination. I've already recommended him to friends. Only downside was the rather brusque treatment by the staff in the shop.

Lovely staff and quality service. I was well infrormed throughout the process and made to feel at ease.
