Excellent eye test I can never fault Boots. Keep up the brilliant work

Visited the Loughton branch last week with my 90yr old mum for a routine appointment. Due to covid there were restrictions in place, but at all times, we felt completely at ease. All procedures were clearly explained, the staff were very friendly and professional. The hygiene and sterilisation of the store, before, during and after our visit was excellent. Carry on the good work, in these difficult times.

Cannot fault the eye test or the professionalism of the Optometrist however the frontline shop staff can be extremely rude and very pushy when it comes to choosing frames.

I initially made an appointment for a contact lens trial in September. I saw the optometrist who said she was going to order in two different types of lenses for me to try. A month and a half later I had not heard from them so I went in and asked if they were in. They said they could only get one type so I made an appointment to try those. When I had that appointment they were no good so I was to await delivery to store of another type. Another two months passed and I heard nothing. I went to ask for my money back which they did not give me. They apologised and said they were determined to fix the situation. So I agreed to a further appointment. When the day of the appointment arrived they left me a message saying they had to reschedule, then a second message saying they were confirming the appointment. When I returned the calls they said that they did indeed need to reschedule and the second message was a mistake. When they asked me if I would like to reschedule the appointment I said absolutely not. So I have spent £35 and a lot of my time to get absolutely nothing other than very frustrated. I can't imagine worse service than this!

Extremely helpful and professional. Not the first time I have used this service but as a result of my personal experience other family members have used also. Can’t fault any aspect.

I absolutely recommend Boots optician in Loughton. After trawling through your competators in the high street and experiencing terrible customer service, it was a blessing to find such wonderfully high end staff at the store. You are the epitome of excellence in your approach and attitude in the way you treat your customers. Credit to you all.
