Horrendous attitude over the phone when I requested an appointment I will go to an Opticians who have good manners Not this one!!

I recently had my yearly eye test at Boots opticians Enfield. The staff were extremely friendly, helpful, kind and professional. Pranitha, the practice manager is always extremely thorough, clear and is not quick to give you a new prescription unless it is necessary and your eyesight has changed. She always makes suggestions for the best way forward i.e. type of glasses needed. The shop assistant helped me to choose glasses that suited my face within my price bracket without rushing me. When my glasses were ready for collection they telephoned to inform me (as this was what I preferred) and left a message. I have been going to boots optician Enfield now for a number of years and find them very reliable, helpful, friendly and professional and would definitely commend them to family and friends. Keep up the good work guys and thanks for everything.

I got an appointment on same day .Found beautiful frames and got 25%off with my advantage card.staff were friendly, and professional. Great service.

I realise that not all people will be like me but I really appreciate a "running commentary" about what I am doing/being asked to do so that I understand all the factors surrounding my treatment.

Eye test was made so I could get a referral to an ophthalmic surgeon for ongoing treatment for an existing eye condition. After the test I was persuaded to buy expensive frames and add-ons. Cost was £221 (initially the staff member recommended £399 cost)!. I am a pensioner and could not afford this. I cancelled the order but had to pay a £25 fee as they said the order had already been processed. Felt pressured to purchase under duress. Optometrist was very helpful and I got a prompt and professional referral. I have no complaints about the standard of the procedure.
