They helped me so much as a disabled customer

The optometrist I was seen by on two occasions was very helpful and explained everything in detail, while answering any questions I had. A member of staff at the Cheapside branch messed up my appointment booking, causing me to waste half a day of vacation from work. The manager of the branch was very apologetic and helped me reschedule my appointment to another day.

The optician was in hurry to go for lunch break. The staff are not trained at all , they forgot to the visual field test when I had my eye test. Choosing pair of glasses was a nightmare as the staff couldn't suggest which frame fits my face better. Also They didn't understand the prescription and made me buy the wrong reading glasses until my prescription is ready. When I collected my glasses, I wasn't happy with the glass as the shade was looks different from the original I chose. Rather than explaining to me they were defensive and blaming me for choosing the frame. The manager wasn't available but anther staff came & explained the different types of frames but she didn't apologias for forgetting to do the visual field test or offer me the second pair for half price rather than buying off the self pair (which was completely wrong). I am extremely disappointed with the staff memembers and the service I got.

the staff were very helpful with my daughter first contactlensess, they spent a fair good time explaining and teaching her how to do it.

I forgot my wallet home and they were very kind despite my embarrassment. I came back the same day to make a payment.

Staff remembered me and the optometrist gave me a very thorough examination and as I had concerns about my deteriorating eye-sight, I felt reassured by the end.
