Boots Opticians London - Eltham

Cons: My daughter's and my own appointment started approx 20 mins late even though there were no other customers. I've used this opticians for years and have always had to wait an unacceptable amount of time, whether it's busy or not (most people would have switched opticians). The rooms are very tired looking (it's like sitting in a 15yr old WHSmith), they don't look professional or particularly clean and therefore do not instil confidence. Lastly, It turns out I didn't need an eye test at all as the reminder letter (and the subsequent 3 reminders) had been sent out about 8 months too early. So all in all a bit of a shambles for what should be an easy, routine process. Pros: The Optometrist was the saving grace, she was courteous and professional.

The lady helping choose new glasses explained I would get a good discount via using my boots card which I was unaware of very grateful to her for this information also the optician was very helpful and reassuring explaining what she was doing and why very pleased with the whole appointment

I have to have yearly check-ups because my Dad had glaucoma but fortunately so far I haven't and because my eyes were checked last year and nothing had changed with my sight, I didn't need new glasses. I was pleased that there wasn't any pressure to buy new ones and I was given my prescription so that if I change my mind I can get them at any time. All the staff were nice and approachable, I have nothing bad to say about the experience.

Welcome was good and the appointment was carried out promptly. Eye tests were carried out in a professional manner and I felt that my interests were the priority.
