Boots Opticians Bromley - The Glades

Very friendly and patient optician who explained each stage of the process and what it was for. The lady who did the photos and other scans was very knowledgeable and explained each stage of the process and offered me the option of purchasing photos of my eyes Maddy and Lekcan who assisted and advised me on the purchases of my new glasses were very helpful and ensured I fully understood what the process was and explained what they were doing at each stage.

Had a contact lens check with Zara 4 August at 3.55pm. I was seen at reception promptly by a friendly team member. Was then seen on time by Zara who seemed professional, and on top of her brief. The experience was pleasant and informative. The check was thorough but nice and quick. Zara also arranged to transfer my records to the Bromley branch which was confirmed to me by phone from Lloyd a few days later. V efficient team work! Also want to thank Kwadwo who adjusted my spectacles perfectly for comfortable wear. I am very impressed by the Team at Boots Bromley Opticians

I had excellent service through out my annual eye test, even under the present restrictions, from beginning to end each person was knowledgeable about their part of the test. Sandra and Robert explained each step of the exercise clearly and answered my questions patiently, I am sorry I do not remember the name of the young man who did the initial tests.

Quick and effiecient, lots of tests, good advice

Appointments for my twins were cancelled and rescheduled again. Staff seemed to be in disarray when we arrived for the rescheduled appointment discussing staff issues very loudly t the desk. Optometrist was great, no issue with the quality of the eye tests at all. Waiting times too long.

I had to wait about 45 to 50 minutes to be seen for my main appointment after the dot test and photograph of my eyes. There was no communication from the staff over the expected waiting time and I started to wonder if I had been forgotten about after a while. I was in Boots for two hours in total. When I booked my appointment the person on the phone wasn't listening when I said that I wanted an eye and contact lens check up and we had to start the whole booking process again when he realised that I wanted both not just an eye check-up. I did not receive a confirmation of the appointment and had to phone again to double check the date and time.

I was so impressed with my experience at Boots Opticians. The staff were so friendly and helpful. They made a special effort to talk to my children about the procedures and the machines they were using. They explained everything clearly and made the whole experience very enjoyable.
